As a registered charity with a small trustee board, we are currently focusing our resources on
Developing a network for local artists to ensure artists have a voice locally, to provide a forum for sharing experience and a space for mutual support
Promoting inclusivity and diversity in the arts locally through the JOY festival and in other ways.
Facilitating community arts projects working with local people across the borough
Using the arts as a tool for sustainability; working with artists and communities to engage with the climate crisis.
Our Journey
The Arts Fest is constantly evolving, guided by our core values of accessibility, inclusivity and localism.
Since our beginnings in 2014, we have grown into a highly successful event, featuring hundreds of performances and activities led by many local artists.In 2018, we were delighted to incorporate JOY, our specialist disability arts festival under our umbrella.
We remain committed partners in JOY which is now led by Turtle Key Arts. We invite you to be part of the festival by sharing your work with us, and thank you for taking part over the years, we are so grateful for your support.
As we move forwards we are putting together a new programme of activities, so watch this space!
