Sunset Cinema - Darkest Hour

Godolphin and Latymer School brings the latest outdoor film screening to Hammersmith with their Sunset Cinema showing the critically acclaimed and six times Academy Award nominee Darkest Hour! A thrilling and inspiring true story beginning at the precipice of World War II as, within days of becoming Prime Minister of Great Britain, Winston Churchill (Academy Award nominee Gary Oldman) must face one of his most turbulent and defining trials. Voted one of the top films of the year, we are thrilled to invite you to join us at this historic site for a screening under the stars. Doors open at 7.30pm, in time to grab a drink from the bar, some hot food from our pop-up restaurant and to watch the sunset before the film starts at 9pm. You are also welcome to bring picnics with you but please note no glass will be permitted onsite, including bottles of wine and beer. All drinks must be in plastic containers or cans and please use plastic to drink from (or even better reusable cups!). Profits from this event will go towards bursary places at the school. T's and C's apply - please visit the ticketing website for more information.
